Shining Windows in Kaysersberg

Photo taken in Kaysersberg, France in December 2011
Even though it is fairly small, the village of Kaysersberg has many stores.  We did a lot of window shopping during our visit in December 2011.  The lights glowed from within, illuminating the dark, cobblestone streets.  The windows were warm and inviting.  It was a magical holiday scene.

  1. So magical! I miss the window shopping of Europe in general, so much better than our generic malls. I hope you DID buy something, though.

  2. I agree. Europeans are wonderful about creating beautiful window displays. We actually didn't buy very much. We mostly bought food. We got some delicious cookies and some honey bread. Mike bought some bacon. My mom and I purchased some ceramic ornaments.

  3. I'm so glad your parents got to experience the Christmas "season" with you in France! That's something I would have loved to see. Got my wooden angels here, though!
